Super Strength Tips

I don’t know where I gathered these tips over the years but they are effective and should be used when weight lifting.

Grip the floor during a push-up.

Grip your free hand during a unilateral exercise.

Grip the floor with your toes in a squat. No shoes is the best for optimal force transfer.

Tense your abs to increase intensity of any muscle.

Tense the glutes to increase any exertion.

When pushing, twist the hands to flare the elbows out at the end of the movement. Feel it in the shoulders.

Pretense the muscles before lifting like arm wrestlers. For example, during a deadlift the bar should come off the floor very slowly; never jerk the bar up.

When you take a breath before your lift, never exhale or inhale all the way; approxmately 50%.

Increase abdominal pressure; tighten sphincter, abs, and diaphragm.Feel the abdominal pressure first and then feel that tension radiate outward from the middle of your body. They call it blowing up the balloon.

Are you the strongest when you are breathing in, breathing out, or holding your breath? The order is holding your breath you’ll be the strongest, breathing out you’ll be the weakest. It comes back to that abdominal pressure you need on every lift. It’s like bracing yourself when you are about to take a punch in the stomach.

I hope you enjoy these strength tips. If you did, share it with friends. These are the types of issues I deal with daily with my clients in order to accomplish their fitness goals. I believe in a coach like approach and I help guide my clients to do the things they deem relevant for them and they are seeing really great results. For me the reward is the happiness it creates and seeing the new found confidence in people. WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO PERSONALLY SHOW YOU HOW YOU CAN ACHIEVE YOUR FITNESS GOALS …FOR FREE?
