Last week I wrote an article talking about how 50% of articles written are 100% bullshit. I didn’t mention in that article how many studies are also crap. I have heard about half the studies are also skewed to prove a product. One of my clients is a pediatrician who studied this exact topic while getting her PhD. When I asked her what percentage of studies are false, all she said was, "A lot." and chuckled.

I hate to say it but your doctor isn’t going to take good care of you. They will do their job to keep you alive and feeling ok and some of them will put in the extra effort to do a good job. They will not keep you at optimum health; that costs money. It’s not a concern if you are overweight and they will likely think you just need to stay away from the cheeseburgers or something. Your doctor isn’t going to tell you the stuff I’m about to tell you here.
One of the most overlooked nutrients we have is vitamin K2. When I mention K2 most people don’t know what I’m talking about and others say I get it in my cruciferous vegetables. The lack of vitamin K2 is what may be causing a lot of the blood clotting disorders in North American. Things like angina, heart attacks, pulmonary embolism, deep vein thrombosis, stroke, and T.I.A or mini stroke.
The main reason I do what I do is because I’ve seen what fitness has done for me. Of course it does a lot physically, I’m faster, stronger, feel better, look better, and move better in general, but it does way more. It created a lot of confidence for me which spilled over into every aspect of my life. That’s what I see in others as well. It starts with getting fitter and then confidence starts when someone accomplishes a goal. Confidence creates success for people.
The main thing I want to talk about is stress type insomnia. 75-80% of sleep problems are stress related. If you have trouble falling asleep or wake up for more than 30 minutes in the night, then this might be where you are. Obviously the stress is what needs to be dealt with and most people don’t realize their stress is high. Things like what you eat and toxins in your environment affect your stress as well.
My good man Gordon Downie just passed through town for the last time. I’m very sad I never got the chance to see him. I’m terribly heartbroken the Tragically Hip lead singer doesn’t have long to live. He is a Canadian icon and has a knack for Canadian references in his songs that sound so natural and unforced. No one can do it the way Gordon Downie can do it. FYI Trois Pistoles is a cute little town near the coast in Quebec that I passed through on my way to Gaspe.
I work as an EMT at my second job and I worked as an EMT as my fulltime job for 10 years. I have seen all kinds of health problems and it's hard to watch when I know how to prevent health problems. The most common problem I’ve seen is abdominal pain. About half of the abdominal problems leave the hospital undiagnosed. You have to wonder why.
1. Bromide- attaches to thyroid hormone carrier. This prevents T4 from being transformed into the active T3 thyroid hormone.
2. Sugar- is used by the food industry to make food as addictive as humanly possible. The fast absorption makes sugar drug like and gives a person a quick high, then a crash. The end result is fat gain and left feeling tired and wanting more.
Neural plasticity is the regeneration of new brain cells. You thought that was impossible? No, it's possible. More proprioception firing causes increased neural plasticity, brain function, and heightens all of your senses.
Inversely, inflammation in the body causes stiffness of the muscles and joints which decreases proprioception firings. Less proprioception firing decreases brain function. In last week's article I talked about GMOs and the unbelievable dangers of eating this toxic waste. This stuff is10x worse than I thought. It should most definitely be illegal cuz it kills people way faster than any hazard I've heard of but this is the greatest example of how the American dollar rules the world.
