I hate to say it but your doctor isn’t going to take good care of you. They will do their job to keep you alive and feeling ok and some of them will put in the extra effort to do a good job. They will not keep you at optimum health; that costs money. It’s not a concern if you are overweight and they will likely think you just need to stay away from the cheeseburgers or something. Your doctor isn’t going to tell you the stuff I’m about to tell you here.

There is a ketogenic summit going on right now and I highly recommend everyone has a listen here. It seems like every doctor is writing a book on how fat is good for you and all the benefits of eating good fats. Then there’s the doctors writing books on how carbohydrates and sugars are causing all kinds of problems for people. The word is getting out slowly, but a lot of people are stuck on the stigma that fat is bad. I hope those people can get a paradigm shift with this summit.
One of the most overlooked nutrients we have is vitamin K2. When I mention K2 most people don’t know what I’m talking about and others say I get it in my cruciferous vegetables. The lack of vitamin K2 is what may be causing a lot of the blood clotting disorders in North American. Things like angina, heart attacks, pulmonary embolism, deep vein thrombosis, stroke, and T.I.A or mini stroke.
My good man Gordon Downie just passed through town for the last time. I’m very sad I never got the chance to see him. I’m terribly heartbroken the Tragically Hip lead singer doesn’t have long to live. He is a Canadian icon and has a knack for Canadian references in his songs that sound so natural and unforced. No one can do it the way Gordon Downie can do it. FYI Trois Pistoles is a cute little town near the coast in Quebec that I passed through on my way to Gaspe.
I know, cuz they’re hungry. I know, I know, but why do they eat breakfast food? And why are they hungry? Some people eat differently than others. What’s all that about? Let’s have a look at some of these questions and the answers.
Neural plasticity is the regeneration of new brain cells. You thought that was impossible? No, it's possible. More proprioception firing causes increased neural plasticity, brain function, and heightens all of your senses.
Inversely, inflammation in the body causes stiffness of the muscles and joints which decreases proprioception firings. Less proprioception firing decreases brain function. A good anti-inflammatory diet and learning proper mobilizers will help with this. Send me a message for more help with the diet and exercise details.
Dr. Natasha developed a concept called GAPS; Gut And Psychology Syndrome. GAPS diet heals and seals the gut lining; it normalizes the microbiome and stops the inflammation. Bad bacteria create toxins that go into the bloodstream and cause any number of symptoms depending on the toxin, which in turn depends on the pathogen creating the toxin. Wherever the toxin flows to is where the disease will occur.
The Microbiome Summit was last weekend and 33 doctors got together to talk about the bacteria of the body. Many of the doctors at this summit believe the microbiome is the one of the greatest discoveries in modern medicine and the unseen root cause (or cure), of almost all health problems. The doctors say the bacteria is our greatest allies against disease and illness
